Carol has enjoyed a rewarding career in childcare for over 40 years. She moved to the Asheville area from New Jersey, where she now brings her skills and extensive experience as a Certified Newborn Care Specialist.
Since her career began in the late 1970s, Carol has enjoyed working with infants and marveling at their growth & development. As she progressed through her career, she came to realize that she had a special way with newborns and also the ability to help new parents feel secure and confident about leaving their newborn in someone else's care.
After 30 years in the child care industry, Carol made the decision to seek additional training in newborn care. In 2007 she received certification in Newborn Care, and has since become a sought after provider for both daytime and overnight support.
Qualifications.
Provided care to multiples (twins and triplets) of varying ages; Certified Newborn Care Specialist (NCS); CPR and First Aid certified.

How do you like to spend a day off?
I have many things I enjoy doing on a day off. A few favorites are hanging out with my friends (going to the movies or out to eat, just being able to spend time together). Cooking, going for a drive, and reading are also favorites.
If you could take a month off to travel the world, where would you go?
WOW!!! That is a real tough question. There are so many places on my "bucket list". I feel very blessed to live in the U.S. because there are so many amazing places to visit right here in our great country. But I will say in the big picture I would love to visit Australia & New Zealand & also as much of Europe as I could pack into a month.
What’s on your list of TV shows to binge watch (or books to read) if you had a whole weekend to yourself?
A whole weekend off! Hmmm!!! Binge watching TV would probably include travel documentaries or true stories about different people (famous or just average people with an interesting story to share). Also, true crime stories I find very interesting. Reading would probably include romance novels or books about famous people who have shaped our world.
