Fun, Informal, and Free Gatherings!
Come hang out with members of the Doulas of Asheville team and meet other expectant and new parents at some of the area's most family-friendly breweries. These gatherings are a no-pressure, carefree opportunity for anyone with small children or expecting babies to connect (and maybe even commiserate) over some delicious beers, if that's your thing.
Our doulas will be "On Tap" for you, whether you're still thinking about your birth plan, preparing for bringing home baby, or looking to smooth the transition to caring for infants. You'll also be able to connect with other parents going through a lot of the same challenges, or just enjoy a fun evening at a local family-friendly brewery.
Craft beer, non-alcoholic beverages, and food is available on-site for purchase. You can also bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverage of choice. We're making the rounds to different family-friendly breweries in and around Asheville, so check here for upcoming dates and locations!

When we meet at New Belgium, you'll find us outside in the grassy area (weather permitting - we’ll move indoors if it’s raining or cold). Occasionally we also add meet-ups at Blue Ghost in Fletcher. When we meet at Blue Ghost we gather in "Firefly Field" (the big open field right behind the blue brewery building. If it's rainy we'll move inside.
